Quality portal of the statutory health insurance funds – MEHRKANAL provides web-based software solution for central course certification
The Zentrale Prüfstelle Prävention (Central Prevention Testing Office) is working on behalf of the Kooperationsgemeinschaft der Krankenkassen (Cooperative Association of Health Insurance Funds), which has been testing the quality of prevention courses in the fields of mobility, nutrition, stress management and relaxation as well as addictive drug consumption, centrally, throughout Germany, at no charge, and across all types of health care and holding it available in a central database for all affiliated health insurance funds since January 1, 2014. The testing takes place in accordance with the provisions of § 20 SGB V (social security code regulation V) and the current prevention guideline of the GKV-Spitzenverband (statutory health insurance umbrella organization). The MEHRKANAL agency provides the software solution for this complex quality management.
